This interdisciplinary study systematically approaches solutions for problems of double bass intonation and proposes a pedagogical approach for double bass intonation based on research in acoustics, musical perception and cognition, and historical and modern performance practice and pedagogy, illustrated through application to double bass literature and applied to the pedagogy of the double bass
